10 Books in 10 Weeks Reading Challenge

Read one book from each category below. Turn in the title of the books and AR score for each book on April 1.  After spring break, we will enjoy a fun activity for completing this challenge.

  • a graphic novel
  • a book about an animal
  • a book recommended by a friend, parent, or teacher
  • a Caldecott Medal winner
  • a book you can read in one day
  • a biography
  • a book with more than 200 pages
  • a book about your favorite sport
  • a Newberry Medal winner
  • a Battle of the Books book

The Writing Process

This video shows second and third graders learning the Writing Process.  Hopefully, it will give you a better understanding of how to create your writing pieces.  Whether you are writing a letter, poem, article, or blog post, you should always follow the writing process.
